Scripture: Jeremiah 1:4-10; Luke 13:10-17

Today’s readings from Scripture remind us that each of us is known, loved, and called by God.  God knows everything there is to know about us, God loves us just as we are, and God calls us to become who we were always meant to be – to follow Jesus, to love like Jesus loves, to serve others, and to put love into action in our communities.  As we kick off the fall (and start a new school year), we celebrate that wherever we go and whatever we do in the coming year, God’s love for us never changes.

This Week: God knows everything about you – your hopes, dreams, fears, deepest secrets, and more.  How does that make you feel?

God loves you just as you are and invites you to change – to grow into the person who you were created to be.  How does that make you feel?

Pray for teachers and students – at all schools in the area, including here at Haymarket Elementary School – at the start of this new school year!
