Scripture: Job 1:13-22; Matthew 26:36-39

Life can be overwhelming. There are absolutely times in this life that offer more than we could ever anticipate handling. We might remember that even Jesus became overwhelmed in the Garden of Gesthemane (Mt 26:36-39). The challenge, for many of us, is just making it through the day. Hopefully our circumstances will never be quite as rough as Job’s, but when we can avoid sin and accusations of wrongdoing, and instead seek help from God and others to make it day to day, we can begin to get a handle on an overwhelming life.
