Matthew 6:34, NIV – “Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”
It’s now officially the holidays, Thanksgiving has come and gone, and now, we go into full on Christmas mode. However, nowadays we all tend to get so wrapped up in all the holiday celebrations that we never truly appreciate the time we are spending with our loved ones. We tend to get so over our heads in planning, cooking, trying to get everyone out the door on time to go to our destinations, that we never choose to see through those moments. Instead of always getting upset and stressed over all the little moments, try to live in them fully. Instead of getting so stressed over the fact that its 2019 and your grandparents still do not have a dishwasher, wash the dishes by hand with your cousins and take time to catch up with each other. Other times, we get caught up in our devices and never take the time to see what is going on around us. We all need to be reminded to take the time and revel in the little moments, because they are the ones you will treasure forever.
