Ultimately, our hope is grounded not in any human achievements, nor in any political plans or work on our part. Our hope is grounded in this simple promise: God is with us. In Jesus, God has been born into our midst. God has taken an interest in all of us, in our world. And, having entered into our world, God will never leave. In Jesus, hope has been born amongst us.
