Second Wednesday of the Month this Fall

(September 12, October 10, November 14, December 12)

6:30pm at The Old Bank Building

Dinner Church is an experience that includes singing, prayer, scripture reading, conversation, and sharing a meal together.

The earliest church gathered around tables, telling the story of Jesus and breaking bread together. Jesus himself spent much of his life gathered at table with his followers – creating new communities of love by inviting outcasts and marginalized people to eat with him and discover God’s love. Dinner Church is a way of doing worship that is inspired by these earliest Christian traditions. People gather around a table, and while sharing a meal, sing, pray, read and discuss Scripture, and worship God together.

A light dinner, salad and bread will be provided at no cost. If you would like to bring food to share, all are welcome to contribute. An offering will be collected to help cover costs, but there is no requirement that you contribute.

In addition, children’s programming is available during the discussion portion of the evening.  During this time children encounter a story of faith in a way that works for their specific developmental and spiritual needs.
