Easter at Haymarket Church

Easter is the central Christian holiday – a day when we tell the story of the resurrection of Jesus Christ and celebrate the Good News that even death cannot stop the power of God’s love.  On April 4, as we celebrate Easter, you are invited to celebrate Easter in these ways:

We will worship online via livestream at 10 AM, as we do each week (you can find online worship on Facebook, YouTube, and here our website).

We will also host an in-person, outdoor, socially distanced service at 8:30 AM in the parking lot of Haymarket Elementary School.  The 8:30 AM in-person service will include communion and will require you to fill out a simple Health Acknowledgement form.

Holy Week Schedule

Holy Week is the week when we tell the most important part of the Christian story – the story of the death and resurrection of Jesus.

It begins on Palm Sunday (March 28). We will be distributing palms for Palm Sunday (so you can have them at home!).
Let us know if you want any palms by emailing us today.

For Maundy Thursday (Thursday, April 1), we will be offering resources to help you celebrate a holy meal at home

For Good Friday (April 2), we will have an online Good Friday service (with music, Scripture reading, and sermon) at 7 PM.
