Give to Haymarket Church
The simplest way to give to Haymarket Church is by giving online. Click the “GIVE online” button (above) to be directed to our secure giving portal. More details on how our giving page works can be found below in the “How to Give” section.

Our online giving provider has updated their platform for a better user experience. We are excited about these changes, but they WILL look different for those who give online regularly.
Those with automated donations should have a seamless transition. Those without automated donations may need to re-enter some information.
If you’d prefer to give by cash or check, you can send those to us at our mailing address. We also have a time of offering during worship each Sunday. You can use that time to give online or drop cash/check into our offering basket.

Why We Give
Everything we have is a gift from God. We believe that Christians are called to give generously to the work of God through the life of our local church, and we at Haymarket Church are passionate about using the gifts we receive to make a difference in our community and in the lives of the people of Haymarket.
Giving is something that we do out of thankfulness – because God has given everything to us, we return a portion of what we receive to God, through the church, in order to support the work of God in our world. In addition, giving to the church changes us – giving helps form us into more faithful and generous people while also supporting the essential mission and ministry of our church. Through the money that is given, we help make disciples and participate in God’s work of transforming the world.
Giving is a spiritual act. We live in a world in which money matters, and our financial support of the church is one of the many ways that we put our faith into practice. It is also a way of making church a priority in our lives – a tangible and practical way in which we work to put God first.
We at Haymarket Church are thankful for your generosity and all the ways that your giving helps us be the church together. In order to facilitate your giving, we offer the option to give online through a specialized online giving company that offers safe and effective electronic giving/payment options for churches, non-profits, and businesses throughout Virginia (and beyond). This option is meant to help you give more conveniently and regularly. We know that many of you manage many of your expenses electronically or through automated payments. By offering an online giving option, we are hoping to give you that same convenience as you make your offering to God through the ministries of Haymarket Church.
How to Give
To give to Haymarket Church please use the green “give online” button above or CLICK HERE.
When you click either of those links, you will be directed to an external website. You should see the Haymarket Church logo at the top of that webpage. Our online giving is processed by Vanco Payment Solutions, which provides a secure giving portal that ensures your financial information is handled securely and payment is processed professionally.
When you reach that website, you can choose either to give a one-time donation or to create a recurring donation. You will be given the opportunity to create an account, which will facilitate more streamlined giving in the future, or simply to make a one-time donation. If you choose to give via an account, you can either login (if you’ve already created an account) or create an account for the first time. If you choose to give without creating an account, you can simply input your information.
On the main page, you can choose which fund you would like to support. You can input the amount of money you want to give and to which account you want to give it.
Money that is given to “General Fund” supports our general budget – this is the account that is meant to support everything we do: from staff salaries to outreach events to rent on our building to ministry with youth and children and more. Unless you specifically want your money to go into one of these other funds, we ask that you direct it to “General Fund,” as this is the primary account that we use to support our work.
Money that is given to the “Facilities Fund” is put in an account that is used to support our day-to-day facility use (renting space for our church to use) and to create a reserve for future building use. Money that is given to the “Mission Fund” is used to support programs that work to make a difference in the lives of people outside our church – from feeding hungry children in local schools to supporting justice work around the world to supporting our Spring Service Day.
Once you have chosen an account to which you wish to give, fill in your personal information as directed. You can choose to give via credit card, debit card, or by a transfer directly from a checking or savings account. Once you complete and submit that information, you will be directed to a page where you will need to confirm that the information is correct. After this process is complete, you will receive an email confirming your payment.
