Online Worship
To participate in online worship (or an archived video) go to Facebook.com/haymarketchurch, our YouTube page, or HaymarketChurch.org/livestream-worship. Our 10 AM service is available on Facebook, YouTube, and our website. Please let us know you’re worshiping along with us (and how many people are watching with you) by commenting on the Facebook post (if you’re using Facebook) or filling out the online registration on the right side of the livestream page on our website.
A Word About Online Giving
Whether your worship online or in-person, your financial giving is essential to help keep the ministries of Haymarket Church moving forward. If you are worshiping online and would typically give in person on Sunday morning (via kiosk, cash, check), we would encourage you to go to HaymarketChurch.org/give and set up automated online giving. Just click the “give online” button on that page, and you’ll be redirected to our secure giving portal. Online giving is also a great way to give even if you are worshiping with us in-person – it’s convenient, and you can establish recurring payments directly from your bank account or credit card. Financial generosity is part of our faith – it’s part of how we follow Jesus and join in God’s work of transforming the world (and our lives).
You can also give by text by texting the dollar amount you want to give to the number 844-332-3112. You’ll receive a response including a link to our secure giving portal. You can use that portal to give via credit card to our General Fund. So, if you want to give $100, just text 100 to 844-332-3112. If you worship online but would prefer to give by check or cash, you can send a donation by mail to “Haymarket Church, PO Box 1024, Haymarket, VA 20168.”

Prayers of the People
We pray together for each other and our world. Towards the end of the prayer, when the pastor says “Lord, in your mercy…” we respond “Hear our prayer.”
Children’s Time
Young Children are invited to the front for a time designed specifically for them. After this, they are invited to go to our Kids’ area with our Kids’ Ministry Team and experience God’s story in ways that are developmentally appropriate for them.
Offering
We respond to God’s love and generosity by returning a portion of what we’ve been given to God, through the church. Financial giving helps the church do God’s work and helps us grow in faith. You can give in-person using cash, check, or our giving kiosk (for credit/debit) – or you can give online at HaymarketChurch.org/give

Creed or Other Response to the Word
We proclaim our faith together by using words that have been handed down to us across the generations. This is typically done by saying the Apostles’ Creed together, but other responses may also be used. The Apostles’ Creed is approximately 1600 years old and has roots even further back in history than that. It represents the faith of the church that has been handed down to us. We like to say that this is something we believe together – so that, if you aren’t able to believe every word of the creed, the faith of the person next to you can carry yours.
Communion
Holy Communion is a holy meal at which Jesus is our host. Everyone is welcome at Jesus’ table, regardless of our church membership or participation. We serve Grape juice and bread/wafers, tell the story of God’s great love, and welcome all people.

Communion
Communion (also known as The Lord’s Supper or The Eucharist) is an ancient Christian practice that churches have been celebrating since the time of Jesus. It’s an opportunity to tell the story of Jesus, re-enact his last supper with his disciples, remember his amazing love for us, and encounter God.
We celebrate communion each Sunday at Haymarket Church.

For Kids
Sunday mornings, children are invited to gather with their families in our worship space at Haymarket Elementary School. Because we believe that children learn to worship God by worshiping (and by watching adults worship), our worship service begins with all ages worshiping together. After a children’s time at the front with our kid’s ministry director or our pastor and explore faith together the children head off to classes to encounter God’s story in ways that fit their particular developmental and learning needs. After the sermon is over, the children return for communion with their families before returning to their classrooms for the rest of worship. Parents are invited to pick their children up from their classroom once worship is completed.
