We know that time is short – as they say about raising children, “the days are long, but the years are short” – and so, we fill it with so many things, not wanting to waste a moment. But is it possible that filling every empty corner of our time actually makes it feel shorter? Could be that maximizing every minute actually makes those minutes feel fewer? Today we are going to talk about the various dynamics of the modern world that conspire to make time rush by – and we will also talk about what it means to worship a God who takes naps on boats.
