Series: Before and After: Seeing the Big Picture in Scripture

Scripture: 1 Corinthians 11:17-34

This Scripture passage is one that we don’t often talk about – it uses phrases like “eating and drinking to our own condemnation.” In the church’s history, it’s been used to scare people away from communion – but, what if it was actually an invitation for us to welcome others at God’s table more fully? What if it was a call for us to be more welcoming to our neighbors and to those who suffer?

This Week: Who is excluded from our church (whether intentionally or unintentionally)? Who isn’t at our table?

Who is excluded from your life? What could you do to change that?
