God on the Move: A Journey Through The Gospel of Mark
Who is Jesus? What makes him special? And what difference does he make for us? These are some of the questions that the Gospel of Mark was written to address. Beginning on Sunday, August 27 and running through the end of November, we at Haymarket Church will be diving deep into the Gospel of Mark. Over the course of 14 weeks, we will have a chance to cover the whole Gospel of Mark. Our sermons in worship will move us through it, we will have weekly reading assignments so we can read through it together, we will have opportunities to gather during the week and study it, and more. This is a great opportunity for us to dig into God’s story and experience it together. Plan to be in worship each week and invite a friend to join you as explore this powerful story of God’s grace and love together!
We are challenging everyone to read a short selection from Mark each week. This “homework” will help us all dive more deeply into this story together. We are hoping that by reading together, we will have the chance to talk about this story together and share ideas and insights that we gain from reading. We grow more when we grow together!
