Series: #nofilter Asking Life’s Essential (& Uncomfortable) Questions
Scripture: Philippians 3:17-4:1; Luke 13:31-35
We are one week away from telling the story of Jesus entering into Jerusalem, being arrested, and dying on the cross. Today, we meet some people who are warning Jesus that Herod (the king, and a puppet of the Roman Emperor) was seeking to kill him. Jesus knew that going to Jerusalem could only end badly for him, and yet he did it anyway, because it was what God was calling him to do.
This Week: What are the things in your life that you are willing to do no matter what it costs you? Why are they such priorities?
How high of a priority is your faith for you? What are you willing to give out of your faithfulness to God?
