Scripture: Mark 9:38-47; James 5:7-20
Sometimes it feels as if the world is a total mess – as if everything has gone wrong and there’s nothing we can do about it. We long for God to set the world right, but we just aren’t sure if it will ever happen. This passage calls us to practice courageous patience – remembering to trust in God to take care of things, and showing us what we can do in the midst of our “waiting” – how our lives can still make a real difference, even when the world seems broken.
