October 11th at 10 AMA Rise Against Hunger meal packaging event
Haymarket Church is excited to partner with Rise Against Hunger and the Gainesville/Haymarket Rotary for a Service Worship Service.
We are excited to serve together this fall!
On the Rise Against Hunger site you can sign up for setup (9-11 AM), packing (11 AM-1 PM), and cleanup (1-1:30 PM). There is also a required waiver during the registration.

On Sunday, October 11th we will gather for worship at Haymarket Elementary School at 10 AM.
After we worship together for a shortened service we will move into a meal packaging event. In 2 hours we will get to package 16,000 meals for folks in places of food insecurity around the world.
This event is open to anyone with a desire to serve. You do not need to be a part of Haymarket Church to participate. It is also family-friendly. There are jobs for anyone from toddler to grandparent! We will also have nursery care available for our youngest friends.
We are excited to serve together this fall!
Donations: We are committing to package 16,000 meals for people around the world in need of food. This equates to $6,400. If you would like to support this important work, you may do so by donating to the Haymarket Church Mission Fund, through our secure online giving portal or by dropping a check or cash into the Offering basket. Please note it is for the Mission Fund in the memo or on an envelope. Thank you for joining us in helping alleviate food insecurity for our neighbors. The Rise Against Hunger volunteer sign up website does also give opportunities to donate, but doing it on our website helps us track the amount given by our congregation better for the event.
