A Rise Against Hunger meal packaging event

Haymarket Church is excited to partner with Rise Against Hunger and the Gainesville/Haymarket Rotary for a Service Worship Service.

We are excited to serve together this fall!

On Sunday, September 24 we will gather for worship at Haymarket Elementary School at 10:00 AM. After we worship together we will move into a meal packaging event. In 2 hours we will get to package 15,000 meals for folks in places of food insecurity around the world. This event is open to anyone with a desire to serve. You do not need to be a part of Haymarket Church to participate. It is also family-friendly. There are jobs for anyone from toddler to grandparent! We will also have nursery care available for our youngest friends. We are excited to serve together this fall!

2022 RISE AGAINST HUNGER EVENT

On Sunday, May 15, 2022 Haymarket Church hosted a “Service Worship Service” (for the first time since the fall of 2019!). Our partners at Rise Against Hunger, who are committed to ending global hunger in our lifetimes, will helped us pack meals for folks in places of food insecurity around the world. We are really thankful for the folks at Gainesville-Haymarket Rotary, who are cosponsoring (and sharing the financial cost of) this event with us.
