What We Believe
We believe that God loves everybody – no exceptions, no excuses, no prerequisites.
We believe that all people are welcome in God’s church, and all means ALL. (For more, check out our Statement of Welcome and Inclusivity.)
We believe that Jesus Christ is Lord, that he is God with us, and that he died and rose again to save the world.
We believe that even when we are not faithful to God, God is always faithful to us – no matter what.
We believe in putting the love of God into action.
We believe that the lives of our neighbors should be better because we follow Jesus.
We believe that God is still writing a story of love in the world, and that each of us has a part to play in it.
We believe that no matter who you are, where you are from, or what you believe, this is true: God loves you, Jesus died and rose again to save you, and you are welcome to seek God and love your neighbor together with us.

Our beliefs are perhaps best summarized in the ancient words of the Apostles’ Creed:
We believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of Heaven and earth;
And in Jesus Christ, His only Son Our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried. He descended to the dead. The third day he rose from the dead, he ascended into Heaven, and is seated at the right hand of God, the Father almighty; He will come again to judge the living and the dead.
We believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body and life everlasting. Amen.
We believe these things together – as a community – which means that if you can’t believe in them as an individual, the faith of the community can carry your faith – believing for you when you can’t believe for yourself.
